The People Want to Dance (song)
"The People Want to Dance" is the third and final single from former Frankie Goes to Hollywood singer Holly Johnson, from his 1991 album Dreams That Money Can't Buy. The single was released in 1991. At the time of the release, Johnson's relations with MCA cooled over dissatisfaction with promotional budgets for his second solo album. The single received little airplay on radios and sold poorly. There was no video for the track as the single was already released from MCA records without Johnson having any part of the release. The track would be Johnson's last until 1994.
The song was written by Holly Johnson.
